Who are you and who is Juliya?

I'm a guy from Argentina, i work on my own, i develope ideas for internet projects, i do some graphic design things but im not a designer, i do (or alter) some codes and script but im not a coder, so basically i just think and research about what can be good for a website and then i (try to) develope it. Same as i did with this site. I also do some online advertising things. Well, thats just my job side, appart of this i am just a common guy, who is in love and have pretty much the same wishes any other people have i guess, to meet the love of my life, have a family, give them a good life, be happy and thats all.

Juliya is the girl i love, she is from Ukraine, i know her for almost 2 years (since october 2009), and we have went through many things together, right now we are not going through a good moment, but i believe we will make it and everything will be fine, during all this time we have make many plans, and right now is the moment to make them come true. So i really hope this project will work and we can be together soon.

What is PostYourShit.com?

PostYourShit.com is the result of an idea i have had for some years, to create a space where people could leave their thoughts or whatever comes to their mind in the moment and to make it remain online for a long time. Nowaday the information flows so fast, you tweet something and five minutes later its gone, buried below another hundreds tweets, so why not to write what you want and make sure it will stay as you want for some years? Like a graffity that noone else than you can modify.

 

Why did you create this site?

There are two reasons, one, as i said in the previous question, to give people the opportunity to leave a message that will last for some years at least, a small piece of internet where their thoughts, feelings or whatever they want will stay for everybody to read it. And the other reason is because i need money to travel and meet the girl i love, right now i can't afford the trip, the work is a bit down, so i thought i could do this, if it works i will have the chance to travel sooner, if it doesn't at least i know i tried something.

 

How much does it cost to post?

Each "spot" (40x40 pixels) cost $10 US Dollars and last 5 years. You can buy 1 spot, a 4 spots package or a 6 spot package, also you can buy more spots separately, each one will cost $10, and since they last 5 years its like $2 US Dollars per year. The idea was to make it affordable for most people.

 

Is it safe to buy here?

It is as safe as buying at ebay or any other website that accepts PayPal, because all the payments are processed by PayPal, one of the largest online payment processors. If you have a PayPal account you can pay with a transfer and if you don't have an account you can pay with your credit card. Keep in mind that i don't have any access to your credit card information, you will be paying in their official site and they will let me know you payed and deposit the payment in my account (obviously they charge me a fee for doing this). What will you do with the money?

I want to travel to Ukraine, to meet with the girl i love, we know each other for two years and now things are not that good because of the distance, so i want to go there for some months and hopefully get married with my girl. I need a ticket for me to go there and come back here, it cost around $2000/$2200 US Dollars, Some money to rent an appartment there, it can cost from around $500 to $800 per month, nothing fancy, but if you are a foreigner they charge you more. So i will use the money just to travel, stay there, hopefully get married, and come back with her to my country.


Do you really need to sell all the spots?

There are 1600 spots and no, i don't need 16,000 US dollars to travel, as i said before, i need my ticket, her ticket, the rent of some months and nothing else, i don't need anything fancy, i just want to travel and meet her, but i made the 1600 spots because the design looked better and i thought it could be more attractive to have it as it is now, but i don't expect to sell them all, if i would that would be great and probably i could afford some things i couldn't other way, but the truth is that i don't need to sell them all, i'm a simple guy.. 

 

What can i post?

You can post pretty much anything you want, just limite the image to 400x125 pixels and the text to 400x300 pixels. And remember you are responsible for your own post, don't post racist things, or personal information of third persons, don't post illegal pornography or any other illegal thing.

 

For how long will my post be online?

Posts will stay online for 5 years (1825 days exactly since the day you buy it) so the cost is $2 US Dollars per year or less than $0.0055 per day. Cheap isn't it?

 

Can i collaborate some other way?

It would be great and i will be very thankful if you can do this. The most important i need is a ticket to go there, so either if you want to buy me a ticket, or just collaborate with some money or even give me an advice about how to save on the ticket, it would be great. Just contact me..
